For help from a nearby emergency dentist, call 256-274-8680. If you call during business hours, our trained staff will schedule an appointment for you ASAP. If your emergency occurs outside regular business hours, your call will be routed to Dr. Betts, who can advise you on how to handle your emergency before you visit us. Our system allows him to reference your current patient information and schedule an appointment for you himself if necessary.
Inhalation Anesthetics Takes the Edge Off
Even if you’re calm under normal dental circumstances, an emergency can make you anxious. If it does, you can get inhaled laughing gas, which is so safe we can even give it to children. It takes effect quickly and wears off quickly too, so you won’t feel groggy afterward.
Our team has more than 100 years of combined dental experience, so they have lots of experience in soothing nerves. If you’re chilly in our chair, you can get a blanket, and a soft pillow will help you relax.
Safety & Comfort Ease Your Emergency Care
Your family’s safety is a top priority in our dental office. It’s always important, but especially so in an emergency. Every staff member is trained in health and safety procedures. Some members of our front office staff are even clinicians!
Plus, we check and clean water lines and autoclaves every week, and we use special wraps on all equipment to make sure it’s sterile. We’ll also offer you goggles during every procedure to protect your eyes.
