Diana began her dental career in 1994 while still in high school and later became a registered dental assistant. She has worked in both the clinical and administrative side of dentistry. She completed continuing education courses in expanded duties in Tennessee and Florida, which has increased her responsibilities at our office. Diana speaks fluent Spanish. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, and volunteer work. She is also a wonderful cook!

Kasey began her dental career in our office in 2014 after receiving her Associate of Applied Science degree in dental assisting from Calhoun Community College. Kasey quickly became a vital part of our team. She and her husband have a daughter and are very involved in their church, where she teaches children and loves to go on mission trips. She also enjoys camping, kayaking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah graduated from Calhoun with an Associate of Applied Science degree in dental assisting. In her time away from the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, working on her farm, taking care of her pets (2 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 rabbit), traveling, and going shopping.

Michelle began her dental career in 1997 and received her dental hygiene license in 2000. She has been with our practice since 2007. Michelle has received training beyond that required for licensure, including Team Training Institute, Hygiene Diamonds, and Periodontal Explosion courses. She is now working hard as a dental hygiene student! Natasha is very knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry. She greets everyone with her friendly smile when they first enter our office. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and child, being a mom, or shopping.

Samantha began her dental career in 2014, coming to work in our office soon after graduation. She loves spending time teaching patients proper care of their teeth; she chose our office because we allow time for that! She planned and manages the setup of our hands-on lab activities for children. She has completed continuing education through Excellence in Dentistry, UAB Hygiene Symposium, and Team Concepts for the Dental Practice. Samantha is married with a toddler. Her family also includes four cats, one dog, and one snake. Her hobbies are sewing, a good Netflix binge, and is interested in being more outdoorsy.

Sylvia began her career in health care and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing education and management from Emory University in 1979. She has held nursing positions in several hospitals and home health agencies. After moving to Decatur in 1989, she worked as a nursing instructor at Calhoun Community College for several years. After leaving Calhoun, she helped with the dental practice part-time while raising a family and now serves as our office manager. She is very interested in patient education and especially helping patients understand how their oral health affects their overall health.
Sylvia is married to Dr. Betts. They have three children, who are happily married, and three grandchildren. Her hobbies are volunteering as a parenting instructor with local nonprofit organizations, traveling, sewing, music, and especially spending time with family.

Amy has been working in an office since 2010, and she has over five years of experience working with medical insurance. In her free time, Amy loves to travel, work out, and spend time with her family including her husband, three daughters, and granddaughter.

Kelli began her dental career in 2020, but she has been working in an office since 2018. When she’s not improving our patient experience, Kelli enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two sons, who keep her busy. She also enjoys hunting and fishing.
